After a week of legitimately yucky weather here in Portland, the sun came out on Sunday just in time for Zuckercreme's 2 year anniversary party.
Zuckercreme is an adorable little coffee shop, gift store and confectionary in the Montavilla neighborhood, my own stomping ground. Owner Brittany Sigal regularly has popups, and when she asked me to make something for her upcoming store anniversary and corn-themed party, I came up with the Bobbie's Corny Boat Dog: one all-beef frank nestled in a Franz white bun slathered with Boat Cheese. All this gets Boat-Sauce anointed roasted corn relish. The results? Corntastic. Thank you, weather gods, for giving us some brief warmth and sunshine, all in the name of corn and hot dogs!
